Everywhere externally. I work on all body parts including eyebrows, face, neck, chest, abdomen, arms, legs, the bikini area and offer GCS preparation.

Yes. Having been around since 1876, electrolysis is extremely safe when performed by a trained professional. It is suitable for all skin tones and hair colors. Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method approved by the FDA.
Your safety and skin health are always my top priorities.
-
Electrolysis targets individual hair follicles using a very fine probe and low-level electricity that destroys the follicle’s ability to grow hair. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are needed for permanent results, but once a follicle is gone, it’s gone for good. Yay!

I use all four: We can talk about which one is best for you in your consultation. And we can try different options throughout your treatment.

Everyone experiences sensation differently. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but most clients describe it as manageable and quick. We will work together to find the right settings for you. I’ll always check in with you, work at your pace, and offer comfort options to make sessions as easy as possible.
Medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help with the discomfort. You can use numbing creams as well. If a cream is going to be used, make sure it is applied 30-60 minutes before treatment time. This allows the product to soak into your skin and start working before treatment begins.

Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.
-
This depends on the area of treatment, the type of hair, the clients sensitivity to treatments, previous methods of hair removal, and frequencies of treatments. Hair removal is a time commitment. We will go over this in our consultation.
-
Avoid touching the area! Touching can lead to an infection. While most of the time these infections are very minor, it can delay healing and increase treatment time. Treat the area like you would a minor sunburn. Use a soothing cream like aloe vera or witch hazel. Ice packs can be helpful. Avoid lotions and makeup for the first 24 hours.
Scabs normally do not appear. If they do develop, DO NOT pick off these scabs. This interrupts the healing process and can cause pitting or orange peel skin if done too much. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding after care. -
There are a few skin conditions that should not be treated without a doctor's approval. If you are unsure about having any, we will discuss this during our consultaiton. If you are sick with a communicable disease, please let me know as soon as possible, so we can decide if we need to reschedule your appointment.
While electrolysis is safe during pregnancy, I will ask you for a provider note to clear you for treatment. The hormones during pregnancy can cause your hairs to become coarser and darker. Your hairs should return to normal growth 6-12 months after birth.
-
I can! When done properly, electrolysis will not affect a tattoo. Galvanic is the only safe modality to prevent damaging your tattoos. Tattoo ink is deeper in the skin than where our treatments will be.

Start with a consultation. We’ll talk about your goals, assess your skin and hair, and create a plan that works for you.

Absolutely. Completely. Always.
